About us
About Us Tara is a 501 (C)(3) not-for-profit organization helping people to recover from alcoholism and drug addiction since 1985. We offer a multi-faceted approach to recovery, blending the disease concept model and AA/NA 12-Step Programs with various modes of therapy, education, life skills development and health promoting activities in a residential setting. Tara continues to provide 30 days or more of residential treatment followed by a recommended 60 to 90 days of supportive, transitional residential living. No other facility in central Indiana offers this standard level of care. MISSION To provide quality care to individuals and families affected by alcoholism and/or drug addiction by promoting lifelong continued recovery. VISION Tara is Indiana's model Alcohol and Drug Treatment and Training Center, where professionals provide a complete continuum of care to enhance the health and recovery of individuals, families, and communities.
