This morning, I along with a handful of Apex Benefits colleagues, participated in an internal watch party to learn about Organizational Adaptability as part of a trueU Timeout session focused on Company Culture, led by Rebekah Rush.
During the session we learned about and discussed:
-Principles of EcoHarmonix-understanding how natural ecosystem dynamics can inform and enhance organizational adaptability.
-Beyond Change Management-transitioning from traditional change management practices to a holistic, adaptable ecosystem approach.
-Cultivating Resilience & Innovation-strategies for building a resilient organizational culture that embraces change and fosters continuous innovation.
-Navigating Complexity-tools for mapping and understanding your organization’s ecosystem to better anticipate, adapt to, and capitalize on changes.
We had a really good discussion during and after the session and while some may disagree, I feel that it's good to be in a room full of people who are both alike and different, when it comes to personality and working styles, (shout out to Disc Profiles and Working Genius strengths & frustrations).

These assessments and tools help us determine communication styles, what our strengths and weaknesses are, where we thrive best on a team, and how to empower others to work towards building a lasting impact. We all know change is hard but unfortunately inevitable, especially in our industry (Insurance). Being equipped with the right tools and people can help make those changes a little easier.
One of the things that really resonated with me, was when she introduced CLIMB and how it applied both personally and professionally. Being your best authentic self-first and using that to help empower the organization through growth and change. I think my personal favorite piece of the model is Resist the Wind. Say it. Live it. Be Weird!
We truly value our partnership with trueU and Karina Platacis and always look forward to the sessions. It gives Apex Benefits powerful tools and resources we can use both personally and professionally, to ensure that our company culture is top notch.
Would love to see some dialogue below on how you handle change, or how you have championed yourself to empower change, lead with intention, been impactful, and inspired the same in others. Also, if you have a Disc or Working Genius profile, drop those below too. If not, and you have used similar assessments, would love to see those too. Do you resonate with your results?
