Matejka’s last collection, “The Big Smoke,” was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award. His new book, “Maps to the Stars,” draws from his childhood in Indianapolis in the 1980s. This program is supported by a Novel Conversations grant from Indiana Humanities.
