Event Description: The Noah Kriese Foundation 3rd Annual Charity Fundraiser. This year we are raising money to assist with the cost of an addition to the main floor of Allie Feinman’s home. Allie is a beautiful 4 year old girl afflicted with an extremely rare genetic disorder known as CDKL5. As a result, Allie suffers uncontrollable and debilitating seizures that do not respond to medicine. Allie has severe developmental delays, cannot walk or talk, and is nearly blind. Allie suffers from extreme gastrointestinal issues, sensory processing dysfunction, and significant sleep disturbances. Over the last 4 years, Allie has endured hundreds of hours of therapy and endless hospital stays, surgeries and procedures. The cause of this disorder is unknown and very little is known about its prognosis or life expectancy. There is currently no treatment or cure. Given Allie’s physical and mental limitations, her day-to-day care requires an immense amount of physical work for all of her caretakers. As Allie grows, the stairs to her bedroom become increasingly more difficult and dangerous to carry her up and down. The new addition of a bedroom and a handicapped accessible bathroom, will give her family the long term solution they need to properly care for Allie, and to give her the comfort and support she deserves.
