Learn 2 Lead is a seminar series geared towards educating business leaders on how to manage their business in a changing culture.

September Topic: Performance Management: Coaching, Counseling, Complimenting and Correcting

This session will ready supervisors and managers to coach, counsel, compliment, and correct more effectively. Mitzi will provide tips for maximizing employee satisfaction and performance and minimizing legal liability through effective personnel practices. This session will provide participants with opportunities to interact with "real" and "really" challenging employees who have been given constructive ("negative") feedback. Mitzi will provide tickly and prickly employment situations in which participants will engage dealing with employees who are not always dedicated to their co-workers or to their employers, ones who point fingers at others rather than accepting responsibility for their own actions, and others who don’t focus on serving their employer’s customers, patrons, clients, patients, members, etc.

Registration is $50. Franklin and Greater Greenwood Chamber Members, Johnson County Foundation Donors and Leadership Johnson County Alumni/Students can attend for a discounted rate of $35.

Registration and continental breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m.; the actual seminar will begin at 9:00 a.m. Registration is non-refundable but fully-transferrable for the same seminar.
